Honey Tree Acres Farm Support Local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Honey Tree Acres’ grows a variety of flowers, herbs, and produce. Everything is started from seed and grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. They also raise meat and laying chickens. The chickens are raised in a tractor coop which is moved daily for fresh grass-grazing. For Indiana residents, they raise and sell meat chickens. The chickens are fed a soy-free grain that is ground on the farm consisting of organic field peas, organic kelp, non-GMO corn, fish meal, organic nutri-balancer, organic flax, and alfalfa hay. Due to commerce laws, they are unable to bring the chickens across state lines. However, if you are interested, they would like to invite you to the farm to pick up your meat chickens or they can make arrangements to meet somewhere in Indiana that is convenient to you.
